Skin tag is a common condition that consists of projections from the surrounding skin and is generally a non-cancerous and non-malignant condition. The most common areas where skin tags occur are: eyelids, neck, under arms and the upper chest. This skin condition can be removed by sealing off the blood supply. This can be done quickly and with little to no irritation.

Fibromas are non-malignant tumors composed of fibrous tissue that can be flat or raised. Large Fibromas are darker in color with a more fibrous texture. Like their smaller counterpart, skin tags, they can be removed easily by cutting off their attachment to the skin surface. In particular, African-American skin is very susceptible to Fibromas. With only one or a few treatments the Fibromas can be easily removed.

Vascular Lesions appear in different forms including (Spider veins, Telangiectasia and Hemangiomas). They are commonly found on the nose, cheeks, chin and chest particularly in thin, sensitized skins. They may be caused by hereditary or environmental factors. Allergies, high blood pressure, excessive consumption of spicy foods, alcohol, smoking are factors which may lead to broken capillaries.

Cholesterol deposits are yellowish plagues of lipids usually found around the eyes. The cholesterol deposits are considered to be related with the abnormal lipid metabolism.

Milias (commonly known as a whitehead) is a plug of sebum covered with layer of skin.

How can they be treated?
